How do I use WelcomeBaby Essence?
WelcomeBaby Essence comes in a 15 ml liquid infusion of stock strength, hand-bottled flower essences and should be used as follows:

Add 7 drops to baby's bath each day for 7 days and/or give one drop in a teaspoonful of cooled boiled water orally as needed.
How long until I see results?

Q: How can I help my baby to sleep better and longer?
A:
There are a number of factors that can affect your baby’s sleeping and napping. Try the following measures in the first few months of life to help you and your little one work towards sleeping through the night:
Establish a set routine as early as possible and try to stick to it as much as you can. Babies will soon get used to a routine and will know what to expect at certain times or when certain rituals occur - like feeding, changing, singing a lullaby and then sleep... Keeping set times for dinner bath and bedtime will also help to set your baby's inner 'body clock' and encourage good sleep habits.
Keep your home or at least the immediate area around your baby as peaceful as possible - the radio, TV or sound of people talking may keep your baby awake and restless. However, new babies will not be unduly disturbed by normal household sounds and these can also help to impart a sense of security.

Q: What must I do when my baby cries? How will I know what he/she is crying for?
A:
Accept that all babies cry every day when they are newborn. As babies are completely helpless and unable to explain their needs to us, crying is their only way of communicating. As a new parent, it can sometimes be difficult to work out what your baby is telling you — is he/she hungry, tired, cold, thirsty, uncomfortable or in need of affection? Not knowing why your baby is crying can make it more upsetting. You will, however, begin to recognize different patterns of crying very soon as you get to know your child, and will be able to anticipate his/her needs better.
What else is important?
Your baby needs to be kept clean, warm, fed and rested. Remember that this little life is 100% dependant on you for everything Don’t forget that a newborn also needs lots of love and affection to help him/her feel cared for and secure. Don’t worry - you can’t overdo holding or cuddling your baby!
Trust yourself and your instincts. Mothering is a natural process that is learnt only by doing. Of course, you may sometimes need advice or a helping hand but remember that ultimately, you and your partner know your child the best.
